Telephone Town Hall Meeting – October 8, 2013

The Scarborough Hospital and The Rouge Valley Health System are working to create an integrated system of health care services that meets the needs of the people in our community, provides appropriate access to care, delivers an outstanding experience for patients and their caregivers, and uses our resources efficiently so that these services are sustainable into the future.

On October 8, 2013, the hospitals held their second telephone Town Hall meeting to invite questions from the public about the ongoing work to examine the benefits and risks of the proposed merger between the two hospital systems.  Over 7,500 people joined the call to hear from the CEOs and medical Chiefs of Staff from both hospitals, as well as many questions from community members.

This one-hour town hall meeting is available here for listening.
